Live Theatre and Events Technical Production Management.
Pete has spent over 35 years in theatre and live events, working as a Production Manager and Lighting Designer across the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA — from West End runs and residencies to large-scale international touring. He is also Director of Storm Lighting Ltd, an event management and technical supply company.
He trained in rep at the Redgrave, Farnham, which gave him an understanding of every side of a production, before moving to the London Palladium and the National Theatre, and then touring for Pola Jones, the RSC, Opera North, Barry Clayman Concerts, Apollo and Really Useful Group.
Recent theatre includes Priscilla (UK tour); Rosie (Aldwych); Something Rotten and Kinky Boots (Theatre Royal Drury Lane); Anything Goes, Carousel and Half a Sixpence (Kilworth House); Luminescence (Westminster Cathedral); Daniel's Husband (London); Gabby's Dollhouse (UK arena tour); Titanic (UK and China); Sting's The Last Ship (USA and UK); Girl From The North Country (Toronto); Dial M for Murder (UK tour); A Christmas Carol (Nottingham Playhouse); Eugenius! and Falsettos (The Other Palace); Friends Fest (Comedy Central); Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage (UK and European tours); American Idiot (UK tour); The Ten Tenors (USA and Germany); Hot Flush (UK tour); Go! Go! Go! Live (Nickelodeon); Simply Ballroom (Singapore); Audra McDonald in concert; and 25 years of pantomime for Qdos, Entertainment now Crossroads.
Further afield, Pete has production managed Spirit of the Dance across New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Asia and the USA; resident shows including the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and the Golden Nugget and the Aladdin in Las Vegas; Le Grand Cirque at the Sydney Opera House; and Eric Clapton's New Year's Eve concerts.
Alongside theatre, Pete delivers corporate events and product launches through Storm Lighting. He is equally at home making a tight budget work as running a well-funded Production, and is trusted to hold the line between what a creative team wants and what can actually be built — on time and on the money.
